St. John's National School, Tower Road, Clondalkin

We are a co-educational national school under Church of Ireland Management, and the Patron of the School is the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Dublin.

Our school is situated on Tower Road in Clondalkin Village. There are four mainstream teachers in St. John’s National School as well as learning support and resource teachers.

Each mainstream teacher teaches two classes in his/her room, e.g. Junior and Senior Infants. This team of teachers, along with our School Secretary and Special Needs Assistants are led by our Principal, Michelle Sharkey. ‚Äč

Every Friday, we have assembly in St John’s Hall or Church, and we hold a Christmas Carol Service and School Leaver’s Service during the year.

We have an active Parent Teachers’ Association who hold various fundraisers during the year, e.g. Sponsored Walk, Green day, Annual Raffle. The money raised subsidises the cost of School Tours, provides treats for the children on special event days and provides resources for the school.

We hope you enjoy reading about our school and seeing the photographs of our work and activities in the picture gallery
